Cue is the superimposition of furniture associated with entering and leaving a room. It reflects the compressed living conditions shared by many across the globe. It is neither a chair, a side table, a drawer, a coat stand, a grandfather’s clock, a plant pot, nor a mirror, yet it is all those things at once. Its form is familiar, its function ambiguous. It merely provides cues for its use and misuse.
